This position is responsible for recruiting applicants and training which involves designing training programs to compliment the hotel's needs. Administers established training programs. Conducts, documents, and tracks all training. Assists with other Human Resource duties as assigned.


  • Responsible for working with all departments to ensure Guest & Employee Satisfaction.
  • Builds applicant sources by researching and contacting community resources and services, colleges, employment agencies, recruiters, media, and internet sites; providing organization information, opportunities, and benefits; making presentations; maintaining rapport.
  • Determines applicant requirements by studying job description and job qualifications.
  • Attracts applicants by placing job advertisements; contacting recruiters, using newsgroups and job sites and any additional resources needed to recruit successfully.
  • Determines applicant qualifications by interviewing applicants; analyzing responses; verifying references; comparing qualifications to job requirements.
  • Arranges management interviews by coordinating schedules; arranges travel, lodging, and meals; escorting applicant to interviews; arranging community tours.
  • Evaluates applicants by discussing job requirements and applicant qualifications with managers, interviewing applicants on consistent set of qualifications.
  • Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.
  • Attends internal and external job fairs.
  • Networks local communities and keeps our brand a focal point as a preferred employer.
  • Enforces established policies and procedures for WinStar World Hotel and the hotel's brand.
  • Practices the WinStar World Hotel Culture and ensures all cultural expectations are implemented and regularly practiced throughout the hotel.
  • Supports hotel's training needs and efforts.
  • Responsible for performing "other duties" as assigned by management.


  • HS Diploma or equivalent.
  • Recruiting experience preferred.
  • Hospitality Experience preferred.
  • Excellent written & verbal communication.
  • Strong analytical, problem solving & organizational skills.
  • Ability to multitask in fast paced demanding environment.
  • Microsoft Office skills required.
  • Strong employee relations experience.
  • Must speak, read and write English.
  • Bi-lingual preferred.


  • All employees must maintain a neat, clean and well-groomed appearance. Specific uniform guidelines and/or required articles of clothing will be explained to you as a part of the orientation process.


  • Ability to obtain any licenses or permits that may be required by law or company Regulations.
